this 4th generation weaving mill, which is located in the shizuoka prefecture, focuses on plain woven fabrics with a high density.

all fabrics are woven exclusively on vintage shuttle looms, using traditional production methods, that go back over half a century.

their textiles have a thread density 5 to 10% higher than that of conventional fabrics, and are woven with a slower shuttle to produce a fuller, more lush feel.

the fabric selection consists mainly of cotton fibres, but also blends of bamboo, hemp, washi, wool, linen and ramie.

as you walk through the beautiful, light-filled workspaces you are slowly surrounded by snowflakes of fibres, that float all around the room, leaving a mysterious cover, whose traces indicate a handcrafted nature.
